Corey Feldman Says Pedophilia “#1 Problem” in Hollywood, Contributed to Corey Haim’s Death

According to Corey Feldman, former child star and best friend of the late Corey Haim, child molestation has run rampant in the entertainment industry.

“The No. 1 problem in Hollywood was and is and always will be pedophilia,” he said Wednesday, adding that the “casting couch” exists for children, too.

He and Haim were no exceptions to that disturbing trend, Feldman says.

Two Coreys: Feldman, left, and the late Haim.

Feldman asserted in an interview that directors and other adults in the industry take advantage of young aspiring actors on a regular basis.

“It’s all done under the radar… But it’s the big secret,” he said.

Feldman also claimed that former co-star Corey Haim’s death last year was the end result of early sexual abuse by an unnamed “Hollywood mogul.”

The 40-year-old said that his friend’s long-running battle with substance abuse and addiction was “a symptom” of the molestation he experienced.

The actor has said that he was raped by his assistant as a child.

“It’s something that will be addressed in my inner soul for the rest of my life, and it’s something that truly affects me,” he told GQ magazine.

Steven Spielberg is well known for his Pedophilia. The luscious way the camera filmed Dakota Fanning in the Tim Robbins basement scene in The War of the Worlds convinced me that you’re right. The person filming that little girl was deeply, sexually in love with her.

I know for a fact many parents in the biz sell their kids up the river.
The parents know that their are seven Hollywood movie produces who will give great parts to only the children whose parents sell their kids for money..A lot of money and I mean a lot of money. If the child performs the sex acts and the movie moguls know in some way they like it or the child is very aggressive and responsive to it in a nasty way..They will be set and the parents know this..SAD but true

An earlier commenter hit the nail on the head. This can be handled very easily. Stop watching TV and going to the movies. The consumer can end this over night.Even if the entire US population saw a trial and conviction of a famous hollywood mogul, they’d still worship actors and drool over plastic, pop-culture performers like Brittney Spears and Justin Bieber. Then after the trial, they’d stay in denial.

MJ was a sick, twisted, child molesting monster. Everyone knew it, but they still listened to his music. That tells me people value children’s innocence less than they value the dream of fame & fortune.

David Nicksay. Born April 15, 1943. Corey Haim stated that his molester was 42 years old when it first happened, and that he, himself, was 14 years old at the time. Lucas was filmed in 1985 (when Corey was 14), released in 1986. David Nicksay produced it, and was 42 at the time of filming. In 1979, David Nicksay produced a television series that Corey Feldman had a role in called, “The Bad News Bears”. Feldman also stated that the person who molested Corey Haim is STILL TO THIS DAY a Hollywood “mogul”. David Nicksay is a production manager for Justin Bieber and has co/executively produced many films and television shows since the late 1970’s (Including Michael Jackson’s short fim, entitled, “Ghost” which was released in 1997.) I won’t sit quiet anymore. These monsters need to be stopped. Unfortunately this is only ONE of the people who victimized these two boys. That’s all I can say.

Steven Spielberg is well known for his Pedophilia. All of
Hollywood is based on this type of abuse. God only knows
how poor little Heathe O’Rourke suffered before her sacrifice.
Drew Barrymore was another of Mr. Spielbergs “pets”. How to
fight it? STOP GOING TO MOVIES!!! STOP SUPPORTING THESE
BASTARDS AND THEIR EVIL EMPIRE!! Do you really feel it’s
necessary to be assaulted by all their subliminal bullcrap
anyway? Don’t support this type of abuse.

I honestly think those that are pedophile are probably the most unlikely suspects. The pillars of Hollywood, not the Hugh Heffners and Micheal Jacksons but the men that everyone would drool to work with. And the same people that would rush to light torches and gather mobs to knock down doors to go after those suspected pervs will probrably be the first to defend and call their accusers liars because they do so much good, they couldn’t possibly be sick in the head. Did anyone see the comments Corey F made about Corey H being omitted from the in memoriam at the oscars and screen actors guild ceremonies. He had a bit of hostility built up. I know many abuse victims… for the 3 that have formally charged their accusers there is an equivalent of 40 that have not. And that is breing completely honest! Pedophilia happens in our everyday lives so I expect none the less in hollywood where everyone is trying to make it or encouraging their children to live a long lost dream. Times have supposedly changed and its time for people to start speaking out against predators. PEOPLE NEED TO STOP REVICTIMIZING VICTIMS BY SAYING THEY HAVE ALTERIOR MOTIVES! Perhaps if he felt that he would have support if he outted the violator he’d be more apt to name names! GOD bless both of their souls… I think it was a brave act to come out!

Corey Feldman is telling the truth about everything! I’m baffled by people who are disregarding what he has revealed about pedophiles in Hollywood. Pedophelia in Hollywood has been reported for more than century. Most of the public goes into automatic denial over this subject. I can’t imagine how difficult it is for the survivor/victim to come out with the truth. I also realize that most of the public has never dealt with addiction. Corey F. has been in the motions of recovery for many years (it takes a lifetime). The truth about addiction is that the abused substance is only a symptom. Usually, there are many very troubling issues that preceed the abuse of a substance. In this case of pedophelia and drug abuse, these young stars live in a virtual world where everything is at their fingertips. When the kids want drugs etc. “Papa Movie Mogul” has the connections. Papa gets the kids hooked to the fame and drugs. The kids are more compromised than the perps because the perps will always have the psychological and financial upper hand. It’s not too difficult of a task to dominate a child and control them into adulthood. Both Coreys revealed the molestation in their tv show. Fact: Corey Haime admitted the molestation; Feldman is not fabricating. I don’t expect Corey F. to name names. It was enough of an emotional roller coaster to admit the molestation in the first place. The other part of this interview that showed the gritty side of the business was Corey F.’s father stating that the money he demanded from Corey’s remaining fortune was to pay for Corey’s boarding school education etc. Obviously Corey F.’s father had his very own best interest at heart.
Corey Feldman (and Haim) have done a good deed by revealing the truth of pedophelia in Hollywood. I have a feeling that some parents who have children in the business will watch their beloveds even more closely now.

I absolutely believe him. It didn’t surprise me at all. I first noticed he had a lot of pent up rage just trying to get out after MJ died. It was very difficult for him to say anything even remotely negative just after his death do to MJ being vaulted by much of the world into godly saint status, up there with Ghandi and Mother Theresa. But one thing he said in an interview caught my attention. He said that when he was a child and first became famous, MJ called him and started spending lots of time with him, including sleep overs, etc, then when Corey got a little older MJ tired of him and stopped calling and he claimed that this really messed him up psychologically during a very vulnerable time in his life. I was surprised because it must have been very hard for him to say something even remotely negative about MJ in that atmosphere. To me however, he was almost hinting that MJ molested him and I have no doubt that he did. Eventually, Corey Feldman or McCauley Culkin will spill the beans about MJ. I do understand why Corey would not name names … the kind of power and money we’re talking about is no joke … he could very well be killed or have his life made even tougher than it already is. I have a lot of respect for him for speaking out about these things and having the courage to live his own life and to not repeat the same mistakes his parents made with his own child.

@Rain which young actor on Back to the Future?? Come to think of it, Michael J Fox has the clout to out movie Mogul pedophiles. He’d be believed!@Leo unless you’ve been in Corey Feldman’s shoes, or have been abused (which, by the way, my mom was and it totally messed up her parenting skills) then don’t condemn him.

I read somewhere today about Angelica Huston doing nothing to protect the 13 year old that Polanski raped…it should be remembered that her father John Huston was part of the incestuous pedophile ring that may have links to the Black Dahlia murder. Angelica was most likely herself abused.

I am hoping that this issue is not swept under the carpet. ANY parent who pushes their kid into acting, modeling and the like should be looked upon as suspect. There should be some sort of monitoring/cancelling/educational program that is mandatory in the arts for child actors.

    Bless you Corey!

This story has really gotten to me. I’ve cried a lot over it. I don’t know if it is for the lost innocence of those young actors, or the fact that I now have to look at my 80’s film collection as majorly tainted. So often I’ve noticed real rage in young actor’s eyes, and in some, a jaded hard eyed look has developed over their film life.

All but a few child actors have ended up on the drug & alcohol junk heap of burnt out careers. I think that is deliberate by the abusers. Perhaps those that end up with a later career were more compliant.

I believe Corey Feldman; and I believe just by getting us all talking he may end up with ramifications he didn’t bargain for. He is coping best he can, and for a guy who was treated so badly growing up, he’s doing a great job with shielding his own youngster.

I respect the guy as an actor, and as a human being. In time the Moguls will be exposed—they always are.

After extensive research, piecing together the puzzle, I am 80% sure that Steven Spielberg and probably George Lucas molested not only both Corey’s, but countless other children that they worked with on set. I suspect Drew Barrymore in addition and if this is so and she comes of of the closet about it, people will believe her because she has lots of respect and influence in Hollywood. I don’t know why people can’t accept why these two men couldn’t be pedophiles. They have all of the signs of pedophiles, the history. South Park hit the hammer right on the nail with their episode. I didn’t know it then, but they originally planed to make Indiana Jones a pedophile, hard to believe but this information is available online and even a transcript of the original brainstorming between Spielberg and Lucas. This isn’t the first time Spielberg has been accused of child molestation. The actor in Back to the Future accused him of it and after that he was black balled by the industry because of their power. I was shocked and appalled, it felt like a personal slap in the face, more like a punch in the gut. It’s easy to forget that pedophiles come in all shapes and sizes, rich or poor, famous or not famous. These men need to pay for what they did. I also think that Michael Jackson molested them too, I know that MJ and Spielberg were close friends before MJ made a comment about Jews on his History album. Funny how he has no problem with molesting children, but say something about a Jew and he is up and arms. I hope he rots in hell. If there was a hell.

@Leo: Agree totally.Pedophilia is not just a huge prolem in Hollywood it is a huge problem everywhere. It crosses race, gender and socioeconomic lines. Despite the fact that most people think of a pedophile as some creepy stranger who assults random kids the reality is that most children who are sexually abused are harmed by a family member or trusted family friend. A child is something like 90% more likely to be sexually abused by someone in the family or who is trusted by the family than by that creepy stranger people warn their kids about. If a casting director or whoever is seen as trustworthy by the parent the child is likely to trust them too, and believe that whatever they do or say is true and ok. While I think this is an issue that does need to be talked about more I don’t know that what Feldman is now saying is true. After Corey Haim died Feldman was right there blaming it on drug abuse and talking about his failed attempts to help his friend get clean and sober. Never once did he mention this until now? It may be true and it is an issue that needs to be addressed for all children everywhere but honestly, if I thought a friend of mine died as a result of such things I would have been yelling it from the roof tops from day one. I would be naming names and not giving a crap if it ended my career as long as those responsible were outed and finally held accountable for their actions. I would rather face being untouchable in Hollywood than face not speaking up for years and maybe allowing this same thing to happen to others. That is why I doubt his reasons for makig this claim now, not years ago.

I dont think its really fair to say Corey Feldman is doing this for publicity. thats just mean. I think he is doing it to help other kids out there in the industry. think about it, he may have been scared to say anything, paid off, who knows. Now he has the guts to speak up. Give him credit for it, don’t cut him down. Why are people such a-holes these days?

Please pardon me for asking, but why has it taken so long for a 40 year old Corey Feldman to *finally come out front and to make such a clearly thought out accusation about the abuse going on toward child stars in Hollywood. It seems that in recent months this has been an accusation that is brought up, and then dispelled by his own camp of people as a misunderstanding doing interviews. It appears that Corey Feldman is No longer an in demand commodity of Hollywood and he appears to get in the News the only way he can, not by starring in a New film or project, but by pulling at the heartstrings by bringing up the sad saga of Corey Haims which can No longer be verified because Corey Haims is No longer with us, and are we to believe that Corey Feldman is making these claims on Corey Haims behalf. What is Corey Feldman doing with his life Now?? Is Corey still a part of the Hollywood couch that stole his youth, is he still making movies?? What is Corey Feldman about Now?? Has he helped to form an organization to warn young Hollywood hopefuls and their parents about the potential dangers of being a young child trying to make a start in Hollywood?? I can easily admire former child stars like Paul Peterson of The Donna Reed Show trying to help young talents find their way, but people like Corey Feldman who has let years go by and Never mentioned something so serious until he Needs a New headline to remind people that he still exist. I have a hard time being interested in what he thinks he has to say, considering the fact that it has taken him so long to expose such a serious charge. Child abuse accusations are very serious, and should Never be taken lightly, and if Corey Feldman claims this as the #1 problem in Hollywood, it should be first page News and the lead in story on the daily News shows to shine a spotlight on such a disturbing story. PEACE!!

It shouldnt come as a surprise that even boys are rountinely subject to sexual abuse at the hands of older men. And that a lot of people with drug and alcohol problems are tortured victims of childhoos sexual abuse.
We glorify objectifying the humiliation of children. Just look at the rock group Rammsteins videos and lead singers obsession with children.
Its right under our noses..and for the sake of not burning bridges people dont call these socipaths out into the open and prosecute them.
Most men I have dated have admitted being molested–and most of my girlfriends with drinking problems finally confronting the reasons why they want to kill themselves–because you always feel their hands on you years later–and they crawl under your skin everytime your radar goes on around someone you know has that on his mind.
Its should be legalized to shoot them…………..
